Our Milling DRO Display console is feature packed whilst still being affordable to both model engineers and users within the production industry. Boasting a whole host of productivity increasing, yet simple to use functions.


The Display console is housed in a robust die cast casing, with sealed tact-tile buttons and large easy to read LED display. Available in a 2-axis and a 3-axis version, both of which offer powerful milling functions and excellent value.

Milling Console Functions

Absolute coordinates

Incremental  coordinates

Displays the position to the user-defined datum.

Displays the new position relative to the previous position.

Pitched Circle Diameter (PCD)

 

For calculating the positions of equally spaced holes around a circle of user-defined diameter.
Centre find Calculates half the distance between two selected points.

Oblique line of holes

 

Calculates the equally spaced position of user-defined number of holes along a straight line at any angle.
Pocket milling  Calculates the progressive milling from the center point of a rectangular inner pocket.
Tool  compensation Cutting tool diameter compensation.
ARC milling  Calculates the rough machining of an arc or radius, without the need for a rotary table.
Metric/imperial conversion Metric/imperial display. Convert you’re machine from metric to imperial and vice-versa at the touch of a button.
200 zero position memory Store up to 200 different zero positions in the internal memory.
  Power down memory The console has an internal memory, and in the event of power loss will store the co-ordinates/entered data.

Mounting Arm

The Display console is supplied complete with a heavy duty mounting arm. The mounting arm will allow the display console to swivel  into a convenient and comfortable position for the user.

  

The mounting arm also has a drawing/note rest under the display console. Installation of the arm is made easy by the use of four jacking screws, one in each corner. This  allows the arm to be mounted on a uneven/curved surface. Fixing bolts are supplied.
