An exceptional geared head metal lathe for less than £2100, the Chester Crusader, offers 36" between centres and a maximum swing of 17" in the gap. Now includes Emergency Foot Switch, Coolant System and Low Volt Work Light. A 18-speed, gear-head spindle lets you select speeds from 65 to 1810 RPM without having to fuss with belts or pulleys. Shifting gears are as easy as switching a couple of front-mounted dials. Outstanding quality at a very reasonable price. Cuts threads of 4-56 Standard TPI and 0.4 - 7 Metric.
