Safety Equipment:

Foot/Knee/Palm Switches These can be supplied as non-latching or latching.  These switches can be mounted conveniently as foot / knee / palm switches. Ingress protection to IP67
Lathe Chuck Guards These are constructed of an aluminum diecast frame and polycarbonate vision panels.  They are supplied complete with all fittings for easy mounting to any lathe and consist of a support bracket for fitting to the top, rear or front face of the headstock to carry a steel rod to support the guard and stop collar, the rotational adjustment of which varies the angular plane of the guard enabling the apron to be set to clear tool posts of different heights, ensuring clear safe vision at all times. The guard is also supplied with an electrical interlock switch which must be wired in to the machine by a competent electrician.
Drill Chuck Guards These drill guards comply fully with BSEN292 "Safety of Machinery" adjustable guards.  When ordering, please give full details of the Make & Model Number of the Machine, and Fixing Diameter for the top fitting.
Milling Machine Guards These vertical milling machine guards are ideally suited to the size of machine normally found in school workshops. There are two sizes each consisting of nylon coated steel members carrying polycarbonate extension visors which can be adjusted in the vertical and horizontal planes to clear protruding vices, jigs or fixtures. The parts can be arranged to form a 3-sided box or an extended line across the front of the table. Special release devices allow rapid access to the work piece or cutter. The guards are clamped to the table using special Tee Nuts, therefore the size of the Tee Slot on your machine must be specified when ordering.
